'The most terrible ever': Trump lashes out at Time's 'super bad' cover photo.

It is a positive feature in a periodical that the president has long exalted – except for one issue. The cover picture, he stated, ""could be the worst ever".

Time's tribute to Trump's role in mediating a ceasefire in Gaza, featured on its November 10 cover, was presented alongside a photo of the president taken from below and with the sun positioned behind him.

The outcome, Trump claims, is ""extremely poor".

"The publication wrote a relatively good story about me, but the image may be the lowest quality in history", Trump wrote on Truth Social.

“My hair was ‘disappeared’, and then there was a shape over my head that looked like a suspended diadem, but very tiny. Really weird! I have never liked being shot from underneath, but this is a super bad image, and it deserves to be called out. What is their goal, and why?”

The president has expressed obvious his ambition to feature on Time magazine's front page and achieved this multiple times in the past year. The preoccupation has reached Trump’s golf clubs – previously, the editors demanded to remove mocked up covers exhibited in a few of his establishments.

This issue's photograph was captured by a photographer for a news agency at the presidential residence on October 5.

The shot's viewpoint was unflattering to the president's jawline and throat – a chance that California governor Newsom took advantage of, with the governor's office posting a modified photo with the problematic part pixelated.

{The living Israeli hostages held in Gaza have been liberated under the opening part of Trump's ceasefire agreement, alongside a freeing of Palestinian inmates. The deal may become a major success of his next term, and it may represent a pivotal moment for that part of the world.

Simultaneously, a defense of the president’s appearance has emerged from a surprising origin: the spokesperson at Russia’s ministry of foreign affairs stepped in to condemn the "revealing" image choice.

It's remarkable: a photograph reveals far more about those who selected it than about the person in it. Only disturbed individuals, people driven by hatred and animosity –maybe even degenerates – could have chosen such a photo", Maria Zakharova wrote on Telegram.

"And given the complimentary photos of President Biden that the same publication used on the cover, even with his age-related challenges, the situation is self-revealing for Time", she noted.

The answer to his queries – why did they choose this, and why? – may be something to do with creatively capturing a sense of power according to a picture editor, an Australian publication's photo editor.

The photograph technically is professionally taken," she says. "They picked this image because they wanted Trump to look impressive. Looking up at a person creates an impression of their grandeur and Trump’s face actually looks contemplative and almost somewhat divine. It’s not often you see pictures of him in such a peaceful state – the photo appears gentle."

His hair looks erased because the rear illumination has overexposed that part of the image, creating a halo effect, she explains. Although the feature's heading pairs nicely with the president's look in the image, "you can’t always please the individual in question."

Few people appreciate being captured from low angles, and although all of the conceptual elements of the image are very strong, the appearance are not complimentary."

The news outlet approached the magazine for a statement.
